Odigwe Encourages Students to Stay Focused on Their Goals

The Chairman of Ika North East Local Government Area, Honourable Hunkamma Monday Odigwe, has urged students in higher institutions to remain dedicated to their aspirations. He gave this advice while hosting the leadership of the National Association of Ika Students at his office in Owa-Oyibu.

Highlighting the value of education, Honourable Odigwe shared his own journey, emphasizing how education paved the way for his success. “School is not a scam,” he affirmed. “I know what it means to feel hopeless, but staying focused is key to setting yourself apart.”

He encouraged the students to remain hopeful and work hard, assuring them that success comes through persistence. Odigwe also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving education, which he described as the foundation for a prosperous future.

The student delegation, led by the President of the National Association of Ika Students, commended Odigwe’s leadership and expressed their eagerness to collaborate with his office for the development of the local government area. As a gesture of appreciation, they presented him with a framed picture and passed a vote of confidence in his administration.

Among those in the delegation were Monday Kelechi, Iwegbu Uzoma, Ikechukwu Collins, Osadolor Precious, Ojei Akibor, and Success Ogechi.
