The Executive Chairman of Ika North East Local Government Area, Honourable Hunkamma Monday Odigwe, has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, on his conferment of the Lifetime Leadership Award by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Marshall Inspectorate Training School in Owa-Alero.

In a public statement, Hon. Odigwe commended Senator Okowa’s visionary leadership and exceptional contributions to governance, development, and public service across Delta State and Nigeria. He described the award as a well-deserved honour that reflects the high regard and admiration the former governor commands for his impactful initiatives and people-centered administration.

“This Lifetime Leadership Award is a recognition of decades of selfless service, transformative leadership, and dedication to the welfare of our people. Senator Okowa has left a lasting legacy in Ika land and beyond,” said Hon. Odigwe.

The Ika North East Council Chairman further prayed for God’s continuous blessings, wisdom, and protection upon Senator Okowa and his family, noting that his legacy will continue to inspire the next generation of leaders.

Hon. Odigwe concluded by celebrating Okowa as a true role model in leadership and nation-building.
