For This, We Shall Remain Grateful” – Odigwe

The Chairman of Ika North East Local Government Area, Honorable Hunkamma Monday Odigwe, has expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency, Sir Monday John Onyeme (FCA), Deputy Governor of Delta State, for extending his medical outreach to the people of Ika Federal Constituency.

Speaking at Ika National Hall, Agbor, during the medical outreach held in Ika South Council Area, Hon. Odigwe described the Deputy Governor’s initiative as a remarkable act of kindness and a gesture worthy of emulation.

“At 60, our dear Deputy Governor remains committed to the health and well-being of Deltans. Through his foundation, significant progress will be made in the health sector, and for this, we shall remain grateful,” Odigwe stated. He also congratulated Sir Onyeme on his 60th birthday anniversary, offering prayers for good health and more years of impactful service.

Also speaking at the event, Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior, Chairman of Ika South Local Government Area, lauded the Deputy Governor for choosing to celebrate his milestone birthday by giving back to the people. He assured that the residents of Ika Federal Constituency would long remember the kind gesture.

In her remarks, Her Excellency, Mrs. Catherine Onyeme, wife of the Deputy Governor, expressed her delight at being present for the outreach, a visionary initiative of her husband. She applauded the people of Ika Federal Constituency for turning out in large numbers to benefit from the program.

Mrs. Onyeme also

commended the Chairmen of Ika North East and Ika South Local Government Areas for their efforts in mobilizing their constituents to take advantage of the free medical services. She assured that the outreach would be expanded with a wider coverage next year to benefit even more people.

The event had in attendance Hon. Possible Ajede, Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government Area, alongside Hon. Joy Egbulem and Hon. Mrs. Glory Onyeagbor, Vice Chairmen of Ika North East and Ika South LGAs, respectively. Also present were Hon. Chuks Agbomah, Chairman of PDP Ika North East Local Government, top government officials, party faithful, and other dignitaries.

The medical outreach was widely applauded as a transformational initiative, reinforcing the Delta State government’s dedication to improving healthcare access for its people.
